We had to go into Guer yet again, to the Brico Mache hardware store. This time we got it right! yay! We also decided to take half an hour, on the way home to check out the little town. what a pretty place! A nice cathedral in the middle, of course, and plenty to look at...including buying some patisserie! yes, we bought a chocolate and a café (coffee) Religieuse (Chou pastry with crème patissier in the middle)....thus...with frosting on the top!..we had to eat it for lunch, of course.
I didn't take a photo of the Croissants aux Armande, but I can tell you, they were wonderful for breakfast the next day!:) and no, we aren't putting on weight, just in case you thought we might be:)
Just as well we are driving a small car! we parked on this side street and walked around the Centre Ville (town center). On the corner (right) is the stone building where the Patisserie is! and below, Waz is holding the beautiful package that is our pastries! Pyramid of loveliness:)Everywhere, in all the towns, are baskets of summer flowers...some of course are past their best. The morning temperature is very cool indeed, now.
I will have to tell you about our trip into Carentoir, tomorrow. Time for bed, and another work day tomorrow. Au Revoir!
