Fishy stuff

When Waz and I go driving, we are rather inclined to the "I wonder what is down that road...?"syndrome. Today was a classic example, and because we were in the vicinity and it was on the way home from Home Depot...
 :)

Where we had gone to find me an electric stapler (Im not strong enough to staple with an ordinary one and this is required for the reupholstering of the chairs....

and some reflective tape for our fluro vest, a lock for the outboard motor and other rats and mice...
and I got waylaid taking looart photos...like it?:)
Anyway...
As I said, we did a "what if..." scenario on the way home and look what we found!!!
Rosie's Seafood market. Our Namibian friends had told us this was the place to get fresh seafood. I think the other punters (fellow marketers) thought I was a bit weird, taking all these photos, but never mind...grin and bear it!

Jumbo Shrimp!!! these are about three inches long.

Big fellas, these ones!! about 2 1/2 feet long.
These fresh flounder were approx. 14-16 inches long. Too big for my oven!
So, we came away with a pottle (16oz) of crab claw meat.
Can you guess what is for dinner???Of course! Crab Cakes..I might even take a photo and show you!:)
As it is now dinner prep. time, and 'Happy Hour', it is time for a frozen marguerita (waz HAD to buy them in a bag). Best not to drink too many of those things, or we wont enjoy the crab cakes and salad.
Buon Apetito!
