It's Friday again!...and good news!

Well, remember how we went to Sam's Club first thing on Monday morning to take the prescription for my glasses to be made? They called first thing in the morning to tell us that the glasses are ready! WOW! We were expecting to wait until at least the 2nd January...as they told us!
So, we hot footed it to Sam's Club where they fitted the glasses, and I am now wearing my new ones. No photo yet, but no point really...they are frameless and the lightest I could find in the selection, so you would barely notice I am wearing any.
While there, we did a food shop. The berries were a good price, as was the whole pineapple at less than $3 each. We came away with cucumbers, berries, Pineapple and a few other things including a rotisserie chicken. One good thing about being there around lunch time...all the samples! :)

We put everything into the cooler in the trunk and went off to Marshalls looking for Lemon infused Olive Oil...which we use for our salads. We didn't find any.

We made another couple of stops, and then last but not least, we stopped off at Dairy Queen, just up the road for a cool Blizzard. I ordered a Mini, which was still too large, for me, and Waz had a small. I don't know how anyone eats larger ones, because we have trouble finishing the small.
Came home pretty pooped, did some chores...always plenty of those around here, and made a dinner of Rotisserie chicken and salad. Simple and delicious, always.
Somehow we filled in the evening, which was warm...no wind...and had another good night's sleep.
