we are waiting...camera in hand for

...the pump-out man to appear over the horizon in his pumper truck with new hoses, that came via overnight courier (we hope).
He called us 10 mins ago to say he is only 20 mins away. WOOHOO! this might indeed be premature celebration, but we are ever the optimists:)

We had bacon and eggs on the flydeck this morning in the sun. This is important information, you see. At 10.45am, the inside temp. has just risen to 65.3F. It is a bit chilly, but we aren't complaining at a time when most other folks are suffering freezing conditions. The bacon and eggs wasn't the important information, although it was pretty good...I will do scrambled eggs next time though..I always feel a bit cheated when I fry eggs!....but that the sun was out, we had sweaters on, and sheepskin slippers on feet! It wasn't long, however, until I took off the sweater and divested myself of the slippers! I took a couple of what I hoped might be 'cold-looking' photos, first thing, but I doubt if you would know it, from the sunshine and clear waters!    hmm wind came up, so not quite clear waters!

...and here is a photo especially for Timothy Doolan, ex NOLA neighbor, on Big Fish...
 IT LIVES!!!:)

It might not be flowering anymore, but it is healthy:)

Dee, the truck driver for United Site services turned up just 10 mins ago. He will be our pump-out man every Wednesday from now until we leave this dock. Nice to know there is going to be some continuity!!

This is the adaptor we bought for the pump out with their 2 inch hose.

...and here they come!yay!

Dee pulls the new hose off the truck. The waste tank is in the truck bed...the thick white part at the bottom of the tray area. He normally carries porta potties, so the tank is underneath. Good thinking!

The end of the hose that fits into the truck. The one going into the boat is similar...male and female ends.

and off we go!! suck 'em up, baby!!

The tanks has gasped, sp we know it is now empty! phew...
Waz and Dee are now doing a clean out with the hose, and all will be sweat again. It has beena wee bit stinky for a day or two. Glad this happened today!

I knew you would want to know all about the pump out, so I hope you are happy, coz we sure are:)

Will chat more later. I need to take my eye prescription to Sam's Club to get another pair made. I will tell you the cost when I get the quote, but it is less than 1/3 of the price in NZ!
Ciao for now
